Dzagnidze Beat Mongolian Opponent

 

Nana Dzagnidze (rating 2550) started the last 6th stage of FIDE Women’s Grand Prix so that she can start preparation for World Championship now. Georgian chess player needs to take the 1st or the 2nd place at Qatar stage. In the first round, Dzagnidze beat Indian Humpy Koneru (2607) with black pieces. Several minutes ago, Nana won over Mongolian Batkhuyag Munguntuul (2410) who beat Maia Chiburdanidze (2502) on the 51st move with white pieces. Now, Dzagnidze is the only player who won both matches. Armenian Elina Danielyan (2454) has a chance to over take her. She is playing against Chiburdanidze at this moment…
