Jobava Moved to the Second Place

Georgian chess player Baadur Jobava (2706) continues his participation at Davit Bronstein Memorial in Minsk.

In the 6th round Jobava beat Russian Igor Kovalenko (2642) and moved to the 2nd place. Now the Georgian is 0.5 point behind the leader Daniil Dubov (2614).

In the 7th round Jobava will face Dubov with white pieces and in case of victory, he will move to the first place.

By the way, the winner of Bronstein Memorial will get 10 000 USD.
