Jobava Moved to the Second Place

 

In the 11th round of Wijk an Zee tournament (Netherlands) Georgian Baadur Jobava (2710) played draw with Dutch veteran chess player Ian Timan (2607), due which he lost his leadership.

Georgian chess player earned 8.0 points and moved to the 2nd place. Croatian Ivan Sarich (2637) is in the first place, who defeated Chinese lady Xue Zhao (2567) and earned 8.5 points.

In the 12th round Jobava will face Dutch Dmitri Reinderman (2593) with white pieces and Sarich will play against Chinese Yangee Yu (2677).
