In the press conference hall of “Dinamo” Tbilisi Roman Pipia, president of the club, presented Michal Bilek, new coach of “Dinamo”, to the journalists. According to Pipia, the 49-year-old Czech signed 1+1-year contract with “Dinamo”. Irakli Vashakidze, sports manager of “Dinamo”, and general director Levan Zukhbaia also attended the press conference.
Roman Pipia: “I want to present Michal Bilke, new coach of our club. He is a quite well-known man in Europe. He has been head coach of the Czech national team for the last 4 years. Bilek has also worked for good club and achieved a lot. We held negotiations with some coaches and finally, we made our choice on Bilek. Time will show if our decision was right. I think our decision will work. We will see progress of “Dinamo”. We made this decision because Bilek can mobilize the club. We could not appoint him 6 months ago because he was not free. Levan Khuzbaia is a general director of our club. Everybody knows him well”.
- Why was only one-year contract signed? Why does “Dinamo” change coaches so often? Why did you dismiss general director? What can you say about transfers?
- Perhaps, one year gives more motivation to coach. It is 1+1 contract. “Dinamo” is not the club where even high class coach can work easily. We must see if we will have progress. We have to work hard to make through to the group stage of Champions League every year. As for the transfers, we will talk about it later. As for former general director Mamuka Makhatadze, he worked here temporarily. He has his professional career and will work in his field.
- Which football players left “Dinamo”?
Irakli Vashakidze: “Dorin Goga, Janse, Glisic, Rekhviashvili and Tvildiani left the club. Otar Martsvaladze has a contract and stays in the club. Perhaps, Jaba Dvali will go back to “Zestafoni”. We wanted to add Sandro Kobakhidze but it did not happen. He has other goals. As for Amisulashvili, we cannot add him”.
Michal Bilek: “I am happy to be here. We want “Dinamo” to play at European tournament. We will do our best”.
- A month is remaining till the start of European season. How can you manage to prepare the club for it or to make transfers?
- It is a very good and strong club. We have little time but the club has a good base.
- “Sparta” is a presumable opponent. You coached this club. Do you want to play “Sparta”?
- “Sparta” is a very strong club. I prefer to play other club in the qualifying round.
- Did Dusan Uhrin give you any advice?
- I have talked to him. We know each other well and we will talk in future again.
- Do you have information about the players of “Dinamo”? Who is the best in the club?
- When we will start working everything will be shown on the field.
- Will “Dinamo” be orientated on offence? What will be your tactic?
- A successful game is when the fans leave the stadium happily. We will try to score many goals.
- Who is your favorite at World Cup?
- Now I am orientated on “Dinamo” but I think Brazil will win.
- What will be the team’s program minimum and maximum?
- Maximum is the group stage of UEFA Champions League, minimum – Europa League.
Levan Zukhbaia: “I want to thank the managers of “Dinamo” for their confidence. “Dinamo” must be attractive for fans and sponsors. We have some projects which we are working on. As for fan-shop, I am sure it will open in the nearest future”.
Roman Pipia: “Fan-shop will open in the center of the academy. We promise you good news”.
- What meetings are planned in summer?
Levan Zukhbaia: “Meeting in Istanbul and test matches in Holland. It is up to the coach which clubs he wants for test matches”.
