Didier Deschamps: "We Are Orientated on Georgia"

Didier Deschamps, head coach of French national team, stated in spite of that fans are concentrated on the match against Spain, the team is preparing for the match against Georgia.

“I know people are orientated on Spain. Reality is that 8 teams are in the group and you must achieve success against all of them. Perhaps, it is logical to win over Georgia but we must be concentrated on this match. I think players think about this match now” – Deschamps stated at the press conference which was held at French Football Federation.

The head coach of the French team stated about them:

“Pogba is future of the French team. I want to see him while the practice. I think it was time to call him up. He held 20 matches in Serie A and 6 at Champions League. I have watched his last two matches.

As for Varane, he has great potential and he was always in lineup of “Real”. He has played against such strong teams like “Barcelona” and “Manchester United”.

Deschamps talked about Franck Ribery, midfielder of “Bayern” Munich, who missed 1/8 final match of Champions League against “Arsenal” London because of injury:

“Franck has injured ankle. If everything goes well, he will resume practicing at this weekend. I do not worry about him now. He will join us on Monday”.

Deschamps stated he knows potential of Karim Benzema and forward of “Real” is a key figure for the team:

“Everyone can criticize his showiness but he has potential. I know his possibilities. The French team needs Benzema on the best form”.
