Devdariani - in "Aarhus" till Summer 2015

Davit Devdariani, 25-year-old midfielder of Danish “Aarhus”, signed contract with the club till summer 2015. The contract of Davit expires this summer and extended it for two years.

Brian Steen Nielsen (sports director of “Aarhus”): “I am happy to extend contract with Devdariani. He is an important player for the team and we tried to keep him. Now everything is alright. Davit is a high level football player. He is universal and plays in offense. Injuries did not let him distinguish himself but he is good now”.

Devdariani stated it was hard for him to make decision on extension of the contract.

“I am not a little boy. I am 25 years old and I though what would have been good for my career. I decided to stay in “Aarhus” because I could not show 100% of my possibilities here. Injuries were the reason. I want to prove that I am better player than I seemed to be. I have been here for five years and “Aarhus” means a lot to me”.

Devdariani transferred from “Olimpi” Rustavi to “Aarhus” in August 2008. He has scored 17 goals in 87 matches.
