- When you are a coach, you should already know, when you start training, in order to plan preparatory stage. No one has contacted me and I hear from the press that they are going to appoint Gigla Imnadze as a coach. I think that it is a human way to apprise me this. However, it’s several days that I am calling the director of the club Koba Mirzashvili and I cannot connect to him. At the end of December “Samtredia” offered me to be a coach but I refused. Gia Chkhaidze and others told me not to go, the situation in “Guria” will correct. To tell the truth, I did not want to go to Samtredia, but here was other factors: “Samtredia” will go through play off most likely in First League and maybe it will play against “kolkheti” Poti and it does not necessarily attracted me to be a coach in such decisive match against my town team.
- So, you are not told about the news of the team?
- It’s true. It has been given systematic ingratitude. Roman Pokora was brought instead of me to that time when the team was out of money and had perfect result. Then said that the team is not well-prepared physically and that’s why we lost in Kutaisi and Pokora will correct this. No analysis have done to why was not team physically ready. I learned a lot from Pokora, he is a good coach and person. It’s a pity that Pokora was blamed in losing 4 matches of 5. Here it happens so: if “Guria” wins all connects success to themselves and if losses, it is a coach’s fault.
- How many of wages are not paid off in the team?
- 5 months salary. And also the bonuses of three games too. They said that it would be paid until January 15. The budget is described. It is not a huge amount, 665 000 GEL were annual. It is already 6 months that I am in “Guria” and I have never seen something like this: I do not understand who is a chief. Imagine, doctors and even some stuff of the team were calling me about the salary. This was not my business, but they told that no one answers the phone. That is the case.
- So, it turns out that you do not know what will be your future in the team?
- I am not going to work with double-dealers. As I act to others I would like them to do the same. And if these people stay around the club (I do not mean everyone), I will definitely go. I have self-esteem and cannot tolerate such kind of ignore. I have already tolerated a lot. There is not talk about salary any more. It is all about human relations. However, “Guria” really has a good fans. I would like to take this opportunity and to thank them for their devotion. They actively supported us in every match and of course thanks to the football players too.
