Davit Kacharava, member of Georgian national team, thinks that the team deserved loss in Lisbon but they were lucky and took 4 points. In that match a 25-year-old player scored the only try at the end of the first half and “The Lelos” won 13:12. After this match, the team became leader.

Kacharava held 41 matches in the national team and scored 11 tries. Now, he is preparing for the match againsy Romania which will take place on March 12. In case of victory, “The Lelos” will become winner of “Nations Cup”. Georgia will hold match against Romania at World Cup in New Zealand. In spite of that, Kacharava thinks that the teams will not try to make experiments.

Davit Kacharava: Most of the players will gather on Monday. We held a good training on Tuesday and we are preparing for victory. We cannot say anything in advance but we will do our best.

- How do you think, will the match against Romania be very difficult?

- Of course. After losing against Portugal, Romania beat Russians. I am sure that the match will be very interesting.

- In case of beating Romania, we will win “Nations Cup”. Are you planning to score 4 tries against the opponent?

- We are thinking only about victory but if we have chance we will do it
- We will play against Romania at World Cup. Will this match be preparation for it?
- We know our possibilities. Both teams will think about victory and there will be no experiments. Romania and Russia will play against each other in these days.

- You scored try against Portugal and we won that match but quality of the match was not good.

- We did not play well. We made mistakes. Today, we discussed that match and we found out that we made 17 mistakes. We were lucky and won the match. Such things happen in sport.

- Should we expect such mistakes in the match against Romania?

- Of course. One should improve the mistake but if you cannot do it…
