In ¼ final of Ukrainian Cup “Donetsk” of Giorgi Tsintsadze held a tough game against “Mavpi” Cherkassyi and made through to the final. The Georgian basketball player held one of the best games in the current season.

 “Donetsk” won the first game with 6 points but “Mavpi” won the second one 90:84 and overtime was played. “Mavpi” could not increase the advantage and the hosts lose only with 4 points (102:106).

Tsintsadze was in lineup and earned 18 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals in 32:01 minutes. Giorgi scored 3 from 5 2 points, 1 from 2 3 points and 9 from 12 free throws. He had 4 turnovers and received 4 personal fouls.

American legionary Marco Killingsworth became the best player of the host club with a double-double (22 points, 14 rebounds). His compatriot Bernard King gained 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

The final will take place in Kyiv “Sports Palace” on February 8-9. Besides “Donetsk”, “Budivelnyk”, “Hoverla” and “Dnipro-Azot” will play there. Georgian forward Levan Patsatsia plays for “Dnipro-Azot” but he is injured and cannot help his club.
