Avtandil Chrikishvili won four from five fights at Paris “Grand Slam”. He won silver medal and earned 300 ranking points. The Georgian judoka (81kg) started participation from the second circle – 1/16 final. Chrikishvili beat Aleksej Nefedov of Serbia by ippon, Joachim Bottieau of Belgium by waza-ari, Victor Penalber of Brazil by waza-ari and Keita Nagashima of Japan.

In final the Georgian lost to Yakhyo Imamov of Uzbekistan by ippon.

Soon Varlam Liparteliani will wrestle for gold medal at “Grand Slam”. He will wrestle against Asley Gonzalez.
