Chikhladze will Play Two Semifinals

 

A 25-year old Georgian tennis player Lado Chikhladze won the next match in the city of Austria, St. Polten. It is his first tournament after treating injury and Chikhladze went through semifinal.
Lado started playing from qualifying round, won three matches, went through the next round where he also won three matches in a row.
German Richard White (rating 882) was his opponent in 1/4 final of the tournament (prize 10 000). Chikhladze beat him in two sets 7:6 (7:3), 6:4.
A 21-year old host Nicolas Reising (number 4, rating 544) will be opponent of Lado in semifinal. Australian James Lemke and Czech Daniel Lusting will play in the second semifinal.
Chikhladze is also in semifinal in doubles tournament. He will play with his partner Austrian Brunner against the British - Fever and Milton (number 3).
Several years ago Chikhladze was considered as one of the leaders of Georgian team. Though, because of injury he missed a long period and had to leave the rating of Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Chikhladze had the best result on October 15 in 2007 when he was number 350 player and number 549 in doubles.
