No.2 seed Maka Chakhnashvili celebrated the first victory in the first round of the Duino Aurisina tournament (Italy, 10 000 USD). She defeated Bianca Turati of Italy 7:6 (7:5), 5:7, 6:4. In the next round the Georgian will play Iva Primorac of Croatia.

The Antalya tournament (Turkey, 10 000 USD) will go on without the Georgians. Tamar Chalaganidze lost to Dajana Dukic of Serbia 1:6, 1:6 and Giorgi Javakhishvili – to Yannik Reuter of Belgium 2:6, 0:6.

In doubles draw Javakhishvili and Artur Shakhnubaryan of Russia lost to the Russian duet 2:6, 7:5, 9:11.
