Last time the match-fixing issue has been raised. There were made statements about the removal of the Championship matches from bookmakers. Georgian Football Federation asked the owners of all bookmakers in Georgia to remove the matches from the program.

This will not be enough: everyone knows that the problem is not in bookmakers. First of all, 3 games should be tied together in Georgian bookmakers, otherwise nobody would let you bet on Championship matches. Second, you cannot ban bets in Asia too. A keen player will enter in internet and will bet there on Georgian Championship matches.

Football trades are spread throughout the world, but they do not take matches from bookmakers, they expose specific individuals involved in match-fixing. In Italy Seria A matches are still in bookmakers, as in other countries.

The easiest way is to summon the referees and interrogate them. Who knows better than referees about this sordid news?

Let they summon the referees and make them say who was bothering them, who offered them money. I will tell you … there will be a scanty list … there will be such individuals, who are beginners in relationships with the referees and will be also such people who have memorized plan of action.

Now it turned out that creating the investigation and analysis group of questionable matches has been decided in GFF, but the representatives of this group is confidential. It’s good that it is confidential and it is also good that the members of the group will be instructed to attend the matches silent and prepare a report. But something seems to be ineffective in this undertaking – how they would understand and prove it? The chances are very small.
