Georgian tennis player Maka Chakhnashvili who is competing in the tournament (25 000 USD) in the capital of Egypt, Cairo, is fighting for two titles.
In the 1/8 final of singles tournament, No.4 seed Chakhnashvili played against Ukrainian Elizaveta Ianchuk and beat her 7:5, 6:0. In the 1/4 final, Maka will play against No.6 seed Slovakian Kristina Kucova.
In doubles tournament, No.1 seed duet of Chakhnashvili and Italian Dentoni beat Ukrainians Ianchuk and Shkudin 6:2, 6:3. In the semifinal, they will play against Hungarian Ian and Czech Kubicikova.
No.8 seed Sopho Shapatava played against Nanuli Pipia who is competing in the name of Russia. Shapatava was beat 2:6, 3:6.
In doubles tournament (25 000 USD), held in the city of Turkey, Istanbul, No.3 seed duet of Oksana Kalashnikova and Russian Sirotkina went through the semifinal where they will play against Russian duet (Marenko-Pimkina).
