At the international tournament (prize money 100 000 USD) which is held in the city of Italy, Biella, Georgian tennis player Maka Chakhnashvili overcame the second qualifying round and she needs only one victory to go through the main wrap.
No. 3 seed Chakhnashvili did not play in the first round but she played against Sopho Kvatsabaia in the 2nd round. She defeated her compatriot 6:3, 6:4.
In the next match Maka will play against Jasmina Tinjic of Croatia. If Chakhnashvili wins, in the main wrap she will play against Spanish Suarez-Navarro, Polish Domachowska, Italian Floris or Italian Garbin.
In pairs tournament Slovenian-French duet (Klepac-Vedy) will be opponents of Sopho Shapatava and Russian Shamayko. Chakhnashvili and Domachowska will play against Russian Savinikh and Vogt of Liechtenstein.
Belarusian Daria Kustova refused to compete in a 25-000 tournament in the city of Poland, Katowice. Georgian Oksana Kalashnikova became number 1 player of the tournament.
In the first round Kalashnikova will play against German Kim-Alice Grajdek (invited by "Wild Card"). In pairs tournament Kalashnikova with Ukrainian Arefieva will play against Polish players - Domagala and Zagorska.
