The center of national team of Georgia Giorgi Shermadini can begin a new season as a part of Ukrainian "Budivelnik". This information is extended by the Greek site Eurohoops.net. It appears, the Kiev club and the Georgian basketball player are already close to the agreement though details of the contract aren't disclosed.

24-year-old Shermadini has a solid European experience. For the not so long career he managed to play for three grandees – Tel Aviv "Makkabi", Athenian "Panatinaikos" and "Olympiakos". As a part of this last team Giorgi managed even to win Euroleague. He also protected colors and "Edging" of Italy and Slovenian "Olympia".

By the way, at Georgian center just these days expired term of the contract with "Makkabi" in whom it was released by "Olympiakos" on a leasehold basis. Now George free agent. It expressed desire to return to Greece, however he joined to "Budivelnik".

In Shermadini's last season in matches of Euroleague gathered on the average in 10.2 minutes 4.4 points and 2.9 selections, and in the championship of Greece – in 8.2 minutes 3.9 points and 2.1 selections.

Let's remind that the Kiev club, for the first time for the history, is allowed on a group stage of Euroleague and, respectively, plans structure strengthening. Meanwhile from those players who brought a champion's title to "Budivelnik", extension of the contract is guaranteed only to American Leo Lyons.
