Basilashvili will Advance with 100 Places

A 18-year-old Georgian tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili had the most successful week of the year. Basilashvili who is in the 737th place in Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) won 4 matches at Calabasas tournament (50 000 USD) and went through the 1/8 final.
Nikoloz won three matches in qualifying round. In the main wrap he beat Alex Kuznetsov (7:5, 7:5) who is competing in the name of the USA.
Kuznetsov who was born in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, is in the 234th place with 211 points in World ranking. He had the best result on April 16, 2007, when he was in the 158th place.
In the 1/8 final, winner between No.8 seed Australian John Millman (the 179th place in ranking) and American Lester Cook will be opponent of Basilashvili.
Georgian tennis player gained 3 points for going through the main wrap at Calabasas tournament. Also he gained 7 points and won 860 USD for going through the 1/8 final. Now Nikoloz has 20 points.
The most interesting is that, Georgian top seed tennis player will advance with 100 places because of adding 10 points.
1/4 finalist of Calabasas tournament will gain 15 points, semifinalist will gain 29 points, finalist - 48 points and winner - 80 points.
