Georgian top seed Nikoloz Basilashvili is competing in the Antalya tournament (10 000 USD) successfully. He started participation from the qualifying draw. He defeated Alexandre David of France and Adrian Bodmer of Switzerland 6:4, 6:0 and 6:4, 1:6, 6:4.
In the first match of the main draw Basilashvili beat Pirmin Haenle of Germany 6:3, 2:6, 6:2. In 1/8 final the Georgian will face Andrei Plotniy of Russia.
In doubles draw No.2 seed duet of Basilashvili and Adam Mihdawy of America won over Yuriy Kryvoy of Ukraine and Lukas Mugevicius of Lithuania 6:2, 5:7, 11:9. In ¼ final they will play Germans – Tom Schonenberg and Lennart Zynga.
In the 1st round of the Antalya tournament (10 000 USD) Sofia Kvatsabaia defeated Nora Engelmann of Germany 6:3, 6:3. In 1/8 final she will face Kimberley Zimmermann of Belgium.
No.4 seed Ekaterine Gorgodze beat Esen Kokce of Turkey 6:0, 6:0. In the next round she will play either Rita Atik of Morocco or Yoshimi Kawasaki of Japan.
Anna Kadagidze has not played the first round match yet. Anastasiya Shestakova of Ukraine will be her opponent.
In ¼ final of doubles draw No.4 seed duet of Gorgodze and Zakarlyuk of Ukraine will face Japanese tennis players. Kvatsabaia and Kokce of Turkey will play the Belgian duet. Kadagidze and Kuzmova of Slovakia lost to Romanians Ana and Ioana Bogdans 3:6, 4:6.
Mariam Bolkvadze overcame the qualifying draw of the Loughborough tournament. No.2 seed Georgian tennis player beat Farah Abdelaziz of Britain 6:1, 6:3. In the main draw Bolkvadze lost to Nora Niedmers of Germany 5:7, 3:6.
In doubles draw Bolkvadze and Jasmine Amber Asghar of Britan will play Maria Masini of Italy and Darya Shulzhanok of Belarus.
