18-year-old Georgian forward Bachana Arabuli played for the both sparring U-19 Georgia-Armenia matches. Kakha Kacharava’s team won 1:0 in the first match and then 4:0. You are expected to know that he was injured and that’s why he missed a lot- talented played injured in March, 2011.
Arabuli was attending “Dila”-“Sioni” match and during this time talked to “World Sport”:
- Treatment process lasted for a long time. How did you feel when you played after long-standing trauma?
- Normally. Everything passed badly.
- Was not it difficult to play after so long pause?
- It is just lack of adaptation, nothing more. I have not played for year and half.
- No one touched you when you got trauma.
- Yes, it is true. U-17 team had training at “Mikheil Meskhi”. I jumped up and jumped down badly, at once I felt terrible pain of knee. It is just fortune, but it worth mentioning that “Mikheil Meskhi” stadium was in a bad condition. It also was one of the reasons of my trauma.
- What about U-19 match?
- The second match was better than the first one. We did our best and won 4:0. Kakha Kacharava is a good chairman and he has a good team too. It is still selection process and when qualifying stage starts we will have better team.

- Played as back forward against Armenia. Did you like this position?
- Yes, I was the second forward. The chairman decided that playing in this position would be more profitable.
- You belonged to “Saburtalo”. Where will you play in this season?
- In Georgian championship, I will play either in the first or in the supreme league on a loan in winter. I need practice of playing.
- And why on a loan?
- I hope that in winter I will go abroad. It is already late, staffing process has already been finished everywhere. That’s why I have to prepare well and I have to join such club where I will have practice of playing. First of all I need practice.
