Today Georgian Judoka, acting European Champion Avtandil Chrikoshvili competing in 81 weight category became a World Champion. Chrikashvili beat 6 opponents at Junior World Judo Championship which is underway in the city of Marocco, Agadir. In the final two matches he won over Japanese judokas.
Archil Shinjikashvli (90kg) wrestling in repechage managed to take the 5th place. Today Giorgi Mermanishvili (81 kg), Giorgi Nozade (90 kg) and Shorena Sharadze (63 kg) are beyond top three.
