The second round matches of U-17 Euro first qualifying stage were held in Tbilisi. Team of Koba Zhorzhikashvili played draw 1:1 against English team at Boris Paichadze national stadium. Hallam Hope scored a goal in the first half. At the 63rd minute, Bachana Arabuli scored the second goal of the match. Hope and Arabuli are among top scorers of the group. British player is leading with 3 goals and Georgian - with 2 goals.
Polish and Swedish teams held a match in Vake. In spite of their attempts, the match finished with scoreless draw - 0:0.
Matches of the last round will be held on October 23. Georgia and Sweden will play against each other at the national stadium. Poland and England will hold a match at "Mikheil Meskhi" stadium. According to the regulations of the tournament, 2 best teams go through the elite-round. Two best third-placed teams from 13 groups will add to them. Final tournament of U-17 European Championship will be held in Serbia at the beginning of May 2011.
