None official final match of Nations Cup 2013 between Georgian and Romanian teams ended 9:9. Before the last match both of the teams had equal points (17-17), but Georgians had better additional results and the president of FIRA Jan-Clod Bake awarded Georgian national team with the cup, the sixth times will be curved on this cup, that Georgian national team is the best team in the second level of Europe (Romania was champion 4 times). As a result of this draw we kept Antimz Iverieli Cup and it will stay in Georgian Rugby Union office the third times in a row.

The match was such as we expected. I mean tension, as for the spectacular side it was bad. The referee stopped the match many times, that’s why the match lasted for a long time and in fact it was impossible to control time. During 80 minutes there was only one chance of scoring try and it is pleasant that “The Lelos” managed it.

The rugby promised by Milton Haig to show was shown only several times. It is remarkable that Georgians did very well in defense, like they did at World Cup 2011.  

There was food weather and the stadium was also in a good condition, as for the full tribunes they gave another charm to the match, but as it has been already mentioned, it was not a spectacular match and tension caused it mostly.

Georgians started the first half as well as the second half very well. At the beginning of the match Kvirikashvili scored penalty-3:0. At the 10^th minute Irakli Machkhaneli started attack, he assisted to Mamuka Gorgodze, who gave the ball to Tedo Zibzibadze, other played continued attack but they could not manage to score a try.  The first half ended- 6:6.

Kvirikashvili scored penalty in the second half and advanced Georgians- 9:6. Finally the match ended 9:9 and Georgians gained two cups deservedly.

As for the other match of Nations Cup, Russian Beat Belgium- 43:32. Russians scored 7 tried and gained a premier point.  

Today evening is held another Nations Cup match between Spain and Portugal. As you know, teams will have these points till 2014 and the best teams of two years will play at World Cup 2015, the third-place winner will fight for continent tournament in repechage.
