Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili lost singles draw of the Midland tournament (100 000 USD) but she has a successful start in doubles.

Tatishvili and Heather Watson of Great Britain beat No.4 seed American duet – Asia Muhammad and Taylor Townsend 6:4, 7:5.

In ¼ final Anna and Heather will face Liga Dekmeijere of Latvia and Nikola Frankova of Czech Republic who defeated Maria Elena Camerin of Italy and Vesna Dolonc of Serbia 6:3, 4:6, 10:4.
