Aleko Amisulashvili had debut in Georgian National Team at the age of 19 in 2002. None of the head coaches of Georgian team called him up for playing in national team, only Chivadze trusted him while being a head coach. But time showed that they were wrong, he had constant playing practice in Russian Premier League, but foreign coaches did not pay attention to him and that’s why he was obliged to become a citizen of the country where he was playing. After appointing new head coach Temur Ketsbia midfielder of “Spartak” Nalchik was given the second chance and he justified hopes. Amisulashvili after 3-year pause played in Georgian National Team in May against Cameroon. Since that time he is always in the mains staff.   
Since August he is constantly in the main staff in “Kaiseryspor” Turkey where he was transferred in initiative of Shota Arveladze who is a head coach of this team.in Turkish Super League his club hosted “Sivaspor” and after their beating 4:1 “Kaiseryspor” is on the 3^rd place. Georgian defender scored one goal, but according to several informational sources Santana is considered as an author of the second goal.
“World Sport” got an interview from Aleko Amisulashvili and talked about it also.
- Aleko who was considered as an author of the goal finally?
- At the beginning there was written incorrectly that I assisted a goal. But later I was considered as an author of the goal. My teammate performed standard kick, I won the ball after fighting with defenders and scored a goal.
- You did it as you do it in National Team.
- Yes, indeed. But unfortunately I was not distinguished in national team after return.
- “Kaiseryspor” under new head coach has quite well start, after 8 rounds you gained 17 points and club is on the second-third place.
- We really have quite good start. New head coach and new players also reflected to this success. In compare with last season, there are 8 new players in the main staff and those 3 who were in the main squid last year were playing very rare.
- What was the aim of the club before starting a championship?
- Our goal is to go through the top 6 and play in Euro tournaments. It is naturally that we will not be able to take leading place among these six clubs. Main is to keep self-confidence.
- It is fact that you were playing in very different conditions in Russia. Supposedly you had problems before adapting Turkey, how do you think you adapted Turkey completely of not yet?
- When I was leaving for Turkey I knew that it would not be easy. I have still problem here for example language obstacle, but Shota Arveladze helps me much and that’s why it was easy to adapt, if there were other head coach I would have big problems in adaptation process.  
- If there were not Arveladze as a head coach in this club, supposedly you would not continue career in Turkey.
- Of course it Arveladze’s factor played big role. If Shota were not in “Kaiseryspor” I would not be here now. I am not 20-year-old to leave such lace where I feel comfortable. I was playing for 4 years without change and had not problems for being in the main staff. If I did not find some other ckub would stay in “Nalchik”, where I was trusted and appraised.  
- “Kaiseryspor” in compare with ‘Lokomotiv” and “Kirilia Sovetov” which wanted you to transfer is quite good choice.
- I can say that staying in “Nalchik” would be retreat in my career. It was time to change club and atmosphere. I am sure that my transfer in “Kaiseryspor” will bring me success. I hope everyone will see it after finishing this season.
- Aleko for player at the age of 28 to held 16 matches in National Team is not much. Can you make any comment about it?
- To tell the truth, I did not hope that there would be such progress in National Team. That’s why I made citizenship of Russia, if I could do anything for national team wanted to have normal career. Fortunately Georgian football under new leadership, head coach has progress. Ketsbaia call up those players who deserve it. The results are relevant, everything is depend on us and hope we will be able to keep the temp.  
- It was not easy Georgian fans to come back at stadium.
- To my mind Georgian fans are one of the most narrators may be not in the world but in Europe.  If they started to attend National Team’s matches it means that there is progress. We should improve our playing to be trusted by them.
- There was time that drawing with Latvian team considered satisfying, but now demands are higher.
- According to the playing it was pity losing point in Riga. We made mistake, lost concentration and that’s why we were punished.  We are not children and such mistakes are nor forgivable. After match all of us had such feeling that we lost with big point difference.
- Aleko, after the matches how can you estimate Georgian National Team?
- I can say that team plays as players play and vice verse. Team did not lose during qualifying round and there were scored 2 goals in our goal. In compare with last year it is not bad result. It is difficult simultaneously to play beautiful football and have good results. It is good that we got out used losing and I hope soon we will play spectacular football.
