Georgian U-16 Basketball National Team competes unsuccessfully at international tournament which is underway in the city of Turkey, Gaziantep. Georgian players lost with Chinese team (35:108), in the second quarter they managed to score 2 points and in the third period could not score any point against Iranian team.
This match was very strange. After first quarter Iranian team was winning 18:8, but after the second period Georgians were winning 29:8.
In the third period Georgian team could not manage to score any point 0:19.
Finally Georgian National Team lost 50:62, Sandro Bolkvadze was the best among Georgians, he gained 18 points and rebounded 8. Georgian team is outsider in group B and supposedly they will keep this place because against Slovenia (February 8) and Bulgaria (February 9) Georgian team is not favorite.
