A New President of Judo Federation will Be Appointed

Dilar Khabuliani, president of Georgian Judo Federation, resigned today. Khabuliani made a statement about this after the meeting with minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia Lado Vardzelashvili.
On September 18, Khabuliani did not attend the meeting of executive committee which was held at Judo Federation. He stated that he was on vacation which meant that he was going to resign. There were some rumors that president of the federation wrote a statement about resignation two months ago.
Who will run Judo Federation before appointing a new president will be known at the next meeting of executive committee. The issue about coaching staff of judo team will be discussed at this meeting.
On September 18, executive committee of Judo Federation discussed the incident which occurred at World Championship in Tokyo. Amiran Totikashvili, head coach of the team, took responsibility and resigned. All members of the committee satisfied his decision. Also coaching staff was dismissed.
