There is a new scandal in Georgian Wrestling Federation. Temur Kazarashvili vice-president of federation accused Luka Kurtanidze the president of Federation in a physical assault. The following accident took place at Wrestlers’ Club, in the study of Kurtanidze today in the evening.
As Temur Kazarashvili stated in a talk with TV channel “Rustavi 2”, when the president learned that he had not signed a release order from of the wrestlers from national free-style wrestling team, beat him. “ as far as you know, Luka Kurtadze fired several successful coaches from the federation after his appointing.  The members of the presidium had to prove hi decision, but this topic was not settled on the agenda of the meeting t all. His order had to be signed and I had to do it, because other reps of the federation could not do it officially yet. The president asked me today, why I had not signed it, I answered that without consent of presidium this decision was illegal and that I would not sign it. He became an anxious about it and started insulting me and then hit me. When I fall down, he gave a hit again”-stated Temur Kazarishvili.
Raindi Abramishvili, another veteran wrestler also accuses Luka Kurtanidze in a physical assault. He came to the Wrestlers’ Club after the incident between the president and the vice-president. According to Abramishvili, Kurtanidze started beating him when he asked what had happened between him and Kazarashvili.

Later, The President of Wrestling Federation made a brief comment. As he said, the incident really took there place, but there was not any physical assault and accused the opponent in provoking the scandal.
