Georgian judo team will compete in European Championship with 9 sportsmen. Coaches of the team decided to minimize number of judokas in each weight class.

The head coaches of the team will have one judoka in 5 weight classes and two-two in other two weight classes.

“Staff for European Championship is almost known but it is early to name them. Meeting and one international tournament is ahead. Those judokas who have to prove their advantage will participate in Samsun “Grand Prix” in on March 30-31. Judokas who do not have tournament experience will also wrestle on the Turkish tatami” – Irakli Uznadze, head coach of the team, told “World Sport”.

European Championship will be held in Budapest on April 25-28.
