Georgian sambo players gained 7 medals (4 golden,1 silver and 2 bronze medals) at World SAMBO Championship which is underway in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Zaza Davadze (90 kg) and Levan Mukeria (100 kg) became champions and Zviad Kapanadze (68 kg) gained silver medal from Youth Team. In Junior Team Slava Rezesidze (+87) competed in the tournament without lose and became world champion the second times. In this age category Beka Ratiani took the 3rd place. Nino Odzelashvili (72 kg) became world champion and as for Darina Abuladze (48 kg), she won bronze medal.
