Tornike Shengelia, forward of Georgian national basketball team, played another memorable match for “Laboral Kutxa”. The Spanish club defeated “Baloncesto Sevilla”, former club of Beka Burjanadze, 100:60 and Shengelia was one of the best.
Tornike was in lineup as usual and played without any mistakes for 19:32 minutes. Georgian basketball player scored 1 2 pointers of 2, both 3 pointers and all eight free throws. He gained 16 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and had 2 turnovers.
“Laboral Kutxa” earned 6 wins and 7 defeats and moved to the 9th place among 18 teams. The team of the Georgian will have the next match on December 30 against former club of Giorgi Shermadini and Viktor Sanikidze “Zaragoza”. On January 2nd, Shengelia and his teammates have to face Turkish “Anadolu Efes”.
