Zviad Sichinava, president of the Georgian Football Federation, told “World Sport” he does not exclude participating in the upcoming elections.
Zviad Sichinava: “I have stated I was not going to participate in the elections but I have heard so much and seen such candidates that I do not exclude anything.”
Sichinava stated the following about secretary general Rezo Arveladze: “Arveladze and I are not brothers. Business is business.”
The GFF president did not estimate the work of Temur Ketsbaia, former coach of the Georgia national team: “Temur Ketsbaia estimated his work when he resigned. As the qualifying round failed, fans are making estimation. I want to thank Ketsbaia.”
Sichinava made the following statement about new coach: “We have started working and have some suggestions. We have one month to appoint a new coach who will prepare the national team for a friendly match against Malta. The match will take place in Tbilisi on March 25.”
