Levan Kobiashvili, former defender of the Georgia national football team, is going to participate in presidential elections of the Football Federation. He made this statement in TV program “Arena” on the Georgian Public Broadcaster. Recently rumor had it Kobiashvili was going to participate in the upcoming elections. Now he officially confirmed this information.

Kobiashvili finished his career in “Hertha” Berlin and now he works as a manager in this club. It is known that Revaz Arveladze, secretary general of the GFF, Mikheil Kavelashvili, former player of the national team, and Vladimer Gutsaev, former coach of the national team, also wanted to become president of the federation.
