The Georgian chess players won three silver and one bronze medals at European Youth Chess Championship which ended up in Batumi.

At U-10 boys championship Nikoloz Kacharava shared the first-third places and won bronze medal.

At U-16 girls championship Nino Khomeriki took the second place. At U-16 boys championship Giorgi Sibashvili won silver medal.

At U-18 girls championship Natalia Imnadze won silver medal.
