The meeting took place between Georgian wrestlers and Minister of Sports Levan Kipiani in the Wrestling Federation. As it turned out after the meeting, the problem remains unsolved. Head coaches of freestyle and Greco-Roman teams also attended the meeting.

The wrestlers are not going to renew practices and the president is not planning resignation. As for the coaches, Nugzar Skhireli and Mikheil Saladze retain their posts for now, however the presidium will decide their case.

“Legally, the president’s resignation is excepted. The wrestler’s position remains unchanged. We act only in accordance with legal frameworks. Whether the coaches will retain their post, it will depend on presidium’s decision” – said Levan Kipiani.

“I do not like the rule, when the wrestlers come in Wrestling Club and practice only here. They must train in that place where they grew up, with their tutor coaches and will not loose their form. Especially in this situation, when they do not train. This has a bad influence on their form”, - said head coach of the team Nugzar Skhireli.

“Whether I want to stay in the team? I cannot say it, the presidium should decide it”, - said Mikheil Saladze.
