Giorgi Merebashvili, Georgian forward of Greek OFI, had a debut in the match against “Panathinaikos” (2:1). The former player of “Dinamo” scored goal at the 21st minute.
“World Sport” contacted Giorgi in Greece and asked him for a comment about the debut match.
“I am very happy. To tell the truth, I did not expect such debut. I believed I would play well but could not imagine I would score goal. The team was very happy because OFI had 27-year unsuccessful series in Athens” – Merebashvili told us.
Georgian legionaries Giorgi Loria and Giorgi Merebashvili played 90 minutes. OFI will hold the next match against “Tripoli” on October 26.
