In November Mamuka Gorgodze, leader of the Georgian national rugby union team, will not be able to help “The Lelos” in test matches against Tonga, Ireland and Japan.
This summer the 30-year-old rugby player transferred from “Montpellier” to “Toulon” but the season started unsuccessfully for him. Gorgodze injured left knee and missed 2 months. He returned at the end of September. Unfortunately, in the previous round of Top 14 Mamuka injured right knee.
Gorgodze will have 4-6 weeks of treatment. So, he will not be able to help the national team in November. Mamuka will miss three test games – against Tonga on November 8, against Ireland on November 16 and against Japan on November 23.
