Gordon Strachan: "Scotland Beat the Opponent which Has a Good Defence"

After beating Georgia (1:0) in Euro 2016 qualifying match, Gordon Strachan, head coach of Scotland national team, noted his team played the best 65 minutes.

“It was a magnificent performance and best hour or 65 minutes we had as a team since I have been here. I wanted to win, needed to take a point and on Friday night when I was going to bed, I was thinking: “How are we going to beat the opponent?” I thought it would be tough to score goal. However, our players played freely and easily defeated the opponent. Scotland that had a lot of good moments won over the team which had a good defence” – stated Scotland’s specialist.

Scotland will hold the next Euro qualifying match against Poland on October 14. The match will start at 22:45 Tbilisi time.
