After Euro 2016 qualifying match against Scotland, Temur Ketsbaia, head coach of the Georgian national team, stated his players did their best in “Ibrox” stadium but two factors prevented them from reaching the goal.
“We lacked 2-3 players from lineup. Most players of Scotland national team play in Premier League. Compare them to the players we have in Georgia and you can see the difference between the pace of the game in Georgia and the Premier League. When you are away against a good team, in front of great supporters, it is always difficult. My players did alright. It is not the end of the world.
Now we have to play in Gibraltar, where we will try to play more attacking football. That will be a must-win game. This one was not”, - stated Ketsbaia at the post-match press conference in Glasgow.
