The Georgia national team will play Czechia in the second round at the European Championship. Giorgi Kochorashvili talked about the upcoming match at the pre-match press conference.
“Because we are here, it means we are ready to play. We know that all teams play offensive football against us and we will try to play as we always do.
Football stops the war, we love football. We have a chance to play at this level which is the first time in the history of Georgia. I think all Georgians are happy and it is time to think about the game. We will do everything to make the Georgian fans feel proud.
Of course, it will be a tough match but we are ready. In my opinion, I am not going to the battlefield tomorrow, but we should enjoy all this.
I agree with the coach: we do not play just for result. The main thing is to go out on the pitch and do our best.
We can also shoot from distance. I work on it every day. If I have a chance to shoot, I will try to score a goal. I do not like watching the game of the opponent. I observe the opponent the first 5-10 minutes and then I try to win”, - said Kochorashvili.
Georgia will play Czechia on June 22 in Hamburg. The match will start at 17:00 Tbilisi time.
