Temur Ketsbaia: "It Is not Easy to Beat Us"

Temur Ketsbaia, head coach of the Georgian national team, stated at the pre-match press conference against Scotland that the upcoming match is neither in the category of winning or losing matches.

“I am a head coach of the Georgian national team for five years and we have better team than Scotland. We may not win matches but it is not easy to beat us. If the Scots are confident, it is their problem not ours. I do not think Scotland is better than Spain, France, Croatia, Greece or other team which has ever played at World or European Championship final stage. I am expecting devotion from my players to prove everybody that they were wrong. In Scotland it was written that Georgia and Gibraltar are two teams which will not play at the final stage. It is their opinion.” – stated the Georgian specialist.

The head coach of “Crusaders” talked about the chances of Georgia and his future: “It is neither winning match nor losing one. As for my retirement from the team, I have heard a lot about it. After the match against Ireland, I stated if we could not achieve positive result in the upcoming two matches, I might leave the national team. Nobody has told me it is my last match.”

Euro 2016 qualifying match between Scotland and Georgia will start at 20:00 Tbilisi time in Glasgow. The Georgian Public Broadcaster will broadcast live of the match.
