A couple of days are left till the start of Euro 2016 qualifying match between Georgia and Scotland. The British media contacted Shota Arveladze, head coach of “Kasimpasa” of Turkey and asked him to make a comment about “Crusaders”.
The former player of “Rangers” Glasgow told British Express the current generation of the Georgian national team is not the best.
“To tell the truth, this generation is not the best. We had good players in our generation – Ketsbaia, Kinkladze, I. Representatives of future generation were Kobiashvili, Khizanishvili. We have talented players. We can name one or two of them”, - stated Arveladze.
The Georgian national team lost to Ireland 1:2 in the first qualifying round. Arveladze does not blame his colleague Temur Ketsbaia for playing defensive style.
“Everybody wants to play the way we played before. But now the team plays more defensive football because our team lacks creativity and quality of players”.
