The Georgian delegation won the second medal in Greco-Roman wrestling at European Championship which is underway in Rome, Italy.
Levan Arabuli won silver medal in 130 kg. He beat Italy’s El Mahdi Roccaro 9:0, Germany’s Jello Krahmer 9:0 and Finland’s Arvi Savolainen 9:0. In final, Arabuli fell to Moldova’s Alin Alexuc-Ciurariu 1:6.
Before that, Nugzar Tsurtsumia (55 kg) won bronze medal at European Championship.
Today Amiran Shavadze (60 kg) will wrestle for bronze medal. Iuri Lomadze has a chance to win gold medal in 72 kg.
