Tornike Shengelia, Georgian captain of Spanish “Baskonia”, may be one of the main targets of Italy’s best team “Olympia Milan”, Superbasket reports.

Oracio Cauchy, a local reporter, confirmed the interest:

“Olympia Milano” likes Shengelia very much, it will not be easy, because he has a long-term contract with “Baskonia” and he is a symbol of the club”, - he said.

Tornike has contract with Baskonia until the summer of 2022 and he should earn 6.5 million euros during this period.

Shengelia is averaging 16 points, 6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.4 block-shots and 1.4 steals in 33 minutes in the Liga Endesa, while his average in the Euroleague is: 31 minutes, 15.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.5 block-shots and 0.9 steals.
