The Georgian women’s tennis team continues successful participation in Fed Cup which is underway in Helsinki, Finland. Georgia beat Tunisia 2:1 in the last round of the group stage.

Mariam Bolkvadze fell to world No.45 Ons Jabeur 2:6, 2:6. Eko Gorgodze defeated Chiraz Bechri 6:1, 6:3.

In doubles Oksana Kalashnikova and Gorgodze won over Jabeur and Bechri 6:3, 6:2.

The Georgians overcame the group stage of Europe/Africa Zone at Fed Cup. On February 7 they will face Finland in semifinal.
