Giorgi Shermadini is holding the best season in his career. The Georgian became MVP of the round of Liga ACB for the fourth time in the current season.

In the 18^th round the Georgian center of Iberostar Tenerife held a brilliant game against Estudiantes and made a double-double. Giorgi earned 21 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. He scored 6 from 11 2-point and 9 from 10 free throws. As a result, his efficiency rating was 31.

In the current season Shermadini became MVP in the 10^th, 12^th and 14^th rounds as well. Besides that, he became the best player of December.

Before this season, Giorgi gained the title of MVP four times in Liga ACB while playing for MoraBanc Andorra (in the 30^th round in 2015-2016 season, in the 17^th, 25^th and 32^nd rounds in 2016-2017 season).
