Beka Lomtadze is a world champion in 61 kg! It is the second gold medal for the Georgian freestyle wrestling team at World Championship which is underway in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

In the final Beka beat Magomedrasul Idrisov of Russia 6:1. Before the final, the Georgian defeated Mihai Esanu of Moldova 10:0, Tyler Lee Graff of America 3:1 and Rahul Balasaheb Aware of India 10:6.
