The second day of the 2019 World Championship turned out to be unsuccessful for Georgian judokas. Today three Georgians wrestled on tatami and all of them lost the morning program.
Vazha Margvelashvili (66 kg) beat Ahmed Abelrahman of Egypt by ippon and then failed to Limhwan Kim of South Korea by ippon.
Bagrat Niniashvili (66 kg) defeated Moussa Kaba of Guinea and Nathan Katz of Australia by waza-ari but then fell to Baskhuu Yondonperenlei of Mongolia.
Tetiana Levytska-Shukvani (52 kg) won over Aleksandra Kaleta of Poland and then lost to Thuy Nguyen of Vietnam.
