Giorgi Shermadini, center of the Georgian national team, signed contract with his former club “Cantu”.
Shermadini played for “Cantu” in 2011-12 and was considered one of the leaders of the club. In the Italian club he averaged 9.0 points and 5.2 rebounds. In Euroleague Shermadini averaged 10.9 points and 5.5 rebounds in 16 games. In that season “Cantu” played in Italian Cup and Supercup finals.
In the current season “Cantu” has 3 wins and 2 losses and is in the 5th place. The Italian club also plays at Eurocup and is in the last place in Group B.
At Eurocup “Cantu” will play “Oostende” today. On November 16 they will face “Emporio Armani”.
