19-year-old Georgian center Goga Bitadze held the last game in Serbia’s Mega Bemax and said goodbye to the team after the semifinal series against Crvena Zvezda.
Goga spent part of the season in Montenegro’s Buducnost on loan. He was named the best young player and the best player of Adriatic League. He was also awarded with Euroleague Rising Star trophy. Yesterday Goga was named the best player of Serbian League. The Georgian made the following statement after the game against Crvena Zvezda:
“Taking into consideration that Crvena Zvezda is the best team of Serbia and Adriatic League, we did not play bad but we were not lucky. I am proud that I was a member of Mega Bemax and I want to thank my coaches and teammates.
Now I will prepare for NBA and I hope any team will pick me on draft. I do not have time to relax. I have a lot of work to do”.
NBA draft will be held at Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York, on June 20.
