Nikoloz Basilashvili defeated Marton Fucsovics of Hungary 6:1, 7:6 in 1/32 final of Rome Masters. The Georgian took revenge. The match lasted an hour and 40 minutes.
Nikoloz did not have a chance to Marton in the first set. Basilashvili started the second set well and advanced with two breaks but the Hungarian managed to break back and saved match point on 5:4. Nikoloz won tie-break 7:2. The Georgian is losing head-to-head with Fucsovics 2:3.
Nikoloz will play either Kukushkin or Djere in the next round.
Prize money of Rome Masters is 5.2 million EUR.
